What Is Consciousness? Returning to the Truth of I AM

The first time I truly felt the presence of consciousness was during a quiet evening—a moment when the world hushed just enough for something sacred to arrive. I wasn’t reading. I wasn’t meditating. I was simply present. And then it came—clear, powerful, undeniable:
I AM is the ultimate power. God, the Creator, Source, the Divine. It is the self-contemplation of Spirit for creating all things. You are I AM consciousness. You are the Creator.

That was the moment I began to remember.
Consciousness isn’t a philosophy. It isn’t a concept reserved for mystics and scholars. It is the living essence of who and what you are. It is the light of God, expressing itself through you in this moment. It is not outside of you—it never was. Consciousness is the I AM within, and it has always been there, waiting for you to realize it.
We often ask, what is real? What if I told you that the only reality is consciousness? That everything you see, touch, feel, and experience is not happening to you, but through you?
There is no power outside of the I AM. It is the first cause. The original vibration. The source of all form.
All things are made manifest by light, and the light is consciousness. All things are admitted by Spirit, and Spirit is sound—the divine frequency. When you speak from I AM, you are creating in the image and likeness of God.
There is no separation. No division. What appears to be layers of consciousness—different “levels” of awareness—is simply the One Light expressing itself in infinite forms. Consciousness itself cannot be divided. The soul remains whole regardless of how aware or unaware it is of its truth.
Be still and know: I AM God.
This is the first key. This is the moment of self-realization. The awareness of being always remains, even when we forget the truth of what we are. Even in forgetfulness, there is still consciousness. And in that awareness, even when distorted, the power to create remains.
The concept you hold of yourself—what you attach to your I AM—determines the entire landscape of your life. If you say, I am unwell, the substance of the I AM rearranges to express that state. But if you say, I am well, the very energy of existence reconfigures itself around that knowing.
The I AM does not judge. It simply is. And it becomes what you declare it to be.
There is no power more sacred or more misunderstood than the I AM.
It has been hidden, distorted, perverted—kept from us by systems and teachings built on fear and control. But that time is over. This knowledge is being restored. The Divine is awakening it now in many—those who are ready to remember, those who are ready to create again in full awareness.
You see, the world you experience is not separate from you. You and your environment are one. Your inner world is the outer world. You are not a passive observer—you are a divine participant.
Your body, your life, your circumstances—these are not random. They are the result of the arrangement of your own consciousness. That may feel confronting at first, but it is also the greatest liberation you will ever know.
Why?
Because it means nothing outside of you holds the power to define you. And nothing outside of you can truly limit you.
So then, what is consciousness?
It is the radiant body of the I AM. It is the active presence of God flowing through thought, breath, intention, and form. It is the unseen force that becomes seen the moment it is claimed. It is the light within all things. And it is the only reality.
Everything else—every material form, every perceived limitation, every circumstance—is an effect of consciousness, never a cause.
To understand this is to begin walking the path of true remembrance. You are not here to fight the world. You are here to remember that you are the one creating it.
This is not about forcing new thoughts or denying your feelings. This is about awakening to the Source of those feelings—the consciousness beneath them—and choosing to create from truth.
If you say, I am not worthy, then your life will affirm that belief. If you say, I am whole, I am light, I am love, then that truth begins to shape your world.
What you affirm as true becomes the mold for your reality.
This is the sacred invitation of consciousness—not to fix what is broken, but to remember that you were never broken to begin with. You were only creating unconsciously. But now you see. And now, you choose.
You are the consciousness of I AM, expressing itself through the form of you.
So speak your I AMs with love. Speak them with reverence. Speak them with the knowing that when you do, you are shaping not only your own life but the very frequency of this world.
This is the light of the New Earth. This is the dawn of remembering. This is the sacred teaching that has lived in your soul long before you ever arrived here.
And now it rises.
So take a moment. Be still. Feel the breath in your body. And let yourself say the words that will reshape your reality:
I AM.
