Don’t Do It Scared — Do It Aligned

When I first became a coach, one of the messages that was fed to me constantly was:

Do it scared.

And for a long time, I believed in it.

I said it. I taught it. I repeated it to my clients and friends:

“You can be afraid and still do it.”

“You just need to prove to yourself that you won’t die.”

It sounded brave. It sounded empowering. And sometimes, yes — we do have to move with fear present. But the more I’ve walked this path, the more I’ve learned, the more I’ve channeled, the more I’ve come to understand what it means to move in alignment with Source Creator… the more I see the limits of this message.

I don’t teach it anymore.

And I don’t say it to myself anymore.

You don’t need to do it scared.

You can do it aligned.

And that is a very different way to live.

I want to explain why so many of us feel this constant fear in the first place.

Fear is part of us for a reason. It was designed to keep us alive. Back when we lived in caves and faced real physical threats, fear was essential. The body would surge with adrenaline and cortisol the moment danger was near, and that energy would give us what we needed to fight or flee.

But here’s what’s important to understand:

We were never meant to live in that state constantly.

Those hormones were meant to spike, help us survive, and then leave the system so the body could settle. Fear was a short-term messenger, not a long-term state of being.

Now, in the world we live in today, our nervous systems respond to all kinds of things the same way they would to a tiger outside the cave.

A difficult conversation.

Visibility in your work.

An unfamiliar opportunity.

The fear of being judged.

And because we are so used to this pattern, we push through. We override. We teach ourselves to move with the stress chemicals still running through us.

The more we live this way, the more it becomes the norm. The body begins to operate in a background state of fear. And here is where something very important happens — something many people don’t realize:

When your nervous system stays in this constant fear loop, it dulls your ability to feel what is actually true.

The system becomes so saturated with adrenaline and cortisol that you stop being able to distinguish true danger from old fear.

This is why so many people ignore red flags.

Why they say yes to situations that aren’t good for them.

Why they override their intuition and miss what their body is really trying to communicate.

Because the signals are crossed.

The body is flooded.

The clarity is gone.

Now layer this with the message so many of us have been taught: “Do it scared.”

We’re already living in an overstimulated, fear-driven state, and now we’re being told to push through it even harder.

And every time we do, the body learns this pattern:

Action equals stress.

Growth equals stress.

Success equals stress.

Over time, this creates burnout.

It fractures trust with the body and the nervous system.

And it makes it harder and harder to hear the voice of true guidance — the voice of Source, of the I AM within you.

There is another way.

And this is what I teach now.

You can learn to hear the voice of fear — and know what it is.

You can learn to recognize when it’s your ego or personality trying to keep you safe.

You can learn to catch the moments when you are about to push through something that is misaligned — or about to override your body when it is asking to be met and supported first.

And most importantly:

You can learn to listen for the voice of Source.

You can tune in to the wisdom of the I AM.

You can move when clarity is present — when the body is settled — when the guidance is steady and clear.

That is moving aligned.

That is building trust.

That is teaching your system that growth can happen through coherence, through peace, through alignment with the truth of who you are.

And I want to give you something simple to begin practicing this — a way to check in, so that when fear arises, you know how to listen for what is true.

Here is how you begin moving from your I AM presence instead of from fear:

When fear arises, pause.

Place your hand on your heart. Breathe.

Ask yourself:

Is this true?

Is this fear trying to protect an old identity?

Is this a signal to pause, or is this old resistance from ego?

Fear will often sound loud, fast, urgent.

The voice of Source is steady. The voice of I AM is clear and calm.

Before taking action, allow your nervous system to settle.

Breathe deeply into your belly. Place your hand on your heart and speak:

I AM safe. I AM grounded. I AM open to true guidance.

When your body calms, the clarity returns. You can feel the difference.

From this grounded space, ask:

What is the next aligned step?

Am I moving from truth, or from persona/ego?

How does this next action feel in my body?

Aligned action feels steady and clear.

Fear-driven action often feels forced and buzzy.

And when you move from alignment — when your body, mind, and spirit are in coherence — you are no longer pushing through fear. You are moving in trust. You are moving with the wisdom of Source guiding the way.

This is how transformation happens. This is how trust is rebuilt — both within your system and between you and Source.

I am not telling you to avoid fear or pretend it won’t show up.

You will feel it — we all do.

But you don’t have to build your life around it.

You don’t have to let it shape your actions.

You can pause.

You can breathe.

You can listen for the voice of truth.

And you can choose to move when you are grounded in alignment, fully connected to the wisdom of your I AM presence.

This is the way I choose now.

It is the way I teach.

And it is the way I invite you to walk, too.

I am excited to share that my upcoming live course, Return to the I AM, begins August 6th.

In this powerful journey, I’ll guide you in how to deepen your connection to your I AM presence, discern the voice of true guidance, and learn to move through life anchored in clarity and alignment — no longer driven by fear.

If this speaks to you and you feel called to explore this deeper way of moving through your life and purpose, I invite you to learn more and join us HERE

With Love.
